American Motorhome Self Drive Hire & Rental
Stingray RV is the only company in the UK able to offer self-drive American motorhome hire for their entire fleet. There are 1 or 2 companies who offer self drive on smaller vehicles but no one can compete with our fleet of 40 American RVs ranging from the Damon Daybreak which is under 7.5 tonnes and can be driven on a normal UK car license, through to the amazing Fleetwood Revolution which is the best motorhome in Europe. The Revolution requires an HGV/LGV Class 2 license.
The process of hiring for self drive is exactly the same as hiring a car from HERTZ apart from you have quick driving lesson. There is just a little paperwork and you are on your way. We will even store your car for you free of charge. Simply go back to our 'RV Rentals' section and choose the motorhome you would like to rent, then add £499 to add you to our insurance and you have your quote.
