Stingray RV Buys Silverstream RV Hire
Stingray RV has confirmed its position as the largest American RV hirer in Europe by buying out its biggest competitor, Silverstream RV Hire.
Andy and Sharon Stanley of Silverstream started their business around 4 years ago and have grown their rentals to nearly 200 in 2011. They have achieved a very high level of clients and service, and have been working with Stingray RV for the past couple of years, supplying motorhomes for Stingray�s clients, and vice versa.
Simon Leith of Stingray RV said, �We have been working with Silverstream for a couple of years now and they have a great business with some fantastic clients. As the business has grown, Andy and Sharon have found it difficult to juggle all the bookings with their other responsibilities so they obviously came to us first when they considered selling. It was a really easy deal to put to bed as they were asking a realistic price and we were in a position to agree straight away. This will mean we will complete well over 1,000 rentals next year which we will need to gear up for, but I know we will have the structure and resource in place to deal with the increased business.�

Silverstream RV Hire will continue to trade as an independent brand under the Stingray RV umbrella.
